Environmental Health & Safety Policy

Consistent with MARSULEX’s commitment to safety and the protection of the environment, MARSULEX will:

• Develop appropriate operating and employee training procedures with a view to reducing the risk of personal injury, illness and environmental harm.
• Promote the importance of health and safety practices both at and away from the workplace.
• Provide guidance to its contractors, suppliers, carriers and customers in the safe and responsible use, handling and disposal of the Company’s chemical products.
• Strive to minimize the environmental impact of all its activities.
• Comply with applicable safety, health and environmental laws and regulations.
• Encourage energy efficiency and responsible waste management.
• Maintain an appropriate and effective emergency response capability.
• Undertake periodic reviews of its assets, operations and activities and of compliance with this policy.
