Minimizing the environmental impact of all its activities and maintaining a safe workplace with zero work-related injuries has always been a primary objective of Marsulex.

The Company’s Environmental Health & Safety Policy and management systems support this objective. Application of, and adherence to, the policy and management systems is regularly reviewed through various assessments, including independent reviews of its assets and operations. The Environmental, Health & Safety Committee of the Board of Directors meets regularly to review the Company's performance against environmental, health, safety and training policies and practices. The Committee also works with management to prioritize capital expenditures related to environmental risk management and regulatory compliance.

Marsulex has a sound track record of achievement in the area of EH&S. The Company has been a recipient of numerous awards for its continued improvement in areas of environmental, health and safety performance.
